The Zig-Zag Sorter is an air-based dry separation system designed to separate materials of different densities and shapes using a zig-zag-shaped vertical air column. As mixed materials fall through the zig-zag channel, lighter particles are carried upward by airflow, while heavier materials fall downward, enabling efficient separation without water or chemicals.
