Eddy Current Separator(ECS)

Eddy current separator also known as Eddy current sorting machine,non-ferrous sorting machine,copper aluminum sorting machine.

It is mainly used for recovering non-ferrous metals( such as copper, aluminium, zinc, etc) from industrial and domestic waste.This machine can sort materials with a diameter of more than 1mm and a sorting rate of over 98%.

Working principle:

When the eddy current separator is working,the magnetic pole inside the core roll of the eddy current rotates at a high speed,so the magnetic field changes at a high frequency.The high frequency change of the magnetic field promotes the genaration of very strong eddy current in the non-ferrous metal debris.this eddy current magnetic field is opposite to the internal magnetic field of the eddy current separation magnetic roller.Because of the magnetic field repulsion force,the non-ferrous metals (such as copper,aluminum,zinc,etc) leap forward along their transportation direction,achieve the purpose of separation with other non-metallic materials.
